Mangawhai Activity Zone) – We have been so impressed with the community support in creating this fantastic Activity Zone for families with activities for children of all ages as well as adults, we have committed to donating $100-$200 per sale and have donated $1,400 already. We love being able to tell our sellers and buyers that they are helping support the park and it is aMAZing what you can do there. There is something for everyone to enjoy – skate bowls, BMX pump track, children’s playground, running and walking tracks, basketball, flying fox and more. Make-A-Wish New Zealand, helping to make wishes come true for young people from 3 years to 17 years with life threatening medical conditions. Our team is working with the
Make-A-Wish New Zealand team to raise funds to grant meaningful wishes to kids to give them hope, strength & joy at a very difficult time in their lives.
An exciting part for us is that
Dianne has been a volunteer for
Make-A-Wish since 1999, at one time was on the
Board of Directors for
Make-A-Wish NZ, and now visits children ascertaining their wishes and helps bring them to fruition. It certainly is an amazing privilege.
We are also
“Bayleys Super Givers” with Dianne completing a 30 day walking challenge and personally raising $1650.
